Cotton
Our 100% Cotton is made exclusively from pure plant fibres prized for breathability, comfort, and lasting quality. During the washing process, we apply an extra softener to achieve an even smoother, buttery finish.
Universally loved and perfectly suited to the Australian climate, our 100% Cotton is a popular choice for many of our designs. This mid-weight fabric features a density of approximately 150 GSM, offering the ideal balance of breathability and comfort.
Rayon
Rayon is one of our most used fabrics, made primarily from wood pulp, representing a unique blend of natural and man-made processes. It offers the softness of natural fibres like cotton or silk at a more cost-effective price. It's production does involve chemical processes to transform cellulose from wood pulp into fibres that can be woven into fabric.
The density of our Rayon fabric sits between 150–185 GSM, varying slightly between collections to suit seasonal conditions and garment structure.
Our rayon is carefully pre-shrunk prior to cutting to minimise shrinkage; however, some tolerance should be allowed, as natural fibres can continue to relax slightly after production. We suggest a 1-2% tolerance here.
We have recently upgraded our Rayon to LENZING™ ECOVERO, which has a more eco-responsible production process that results in 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic Rayon, and features a transparent supply chain.
Cotton & LENZING™ Modal Blend
Our beloved Cotton Modal blend combines 50% natural cotton with 50% sustainably sourced LENZING™ Modal. The result is a beautifully soft, breathable fabric that drapes effortlessly and keeps you comfortable year-round.
LENZING™ Modal is prized for its smooth texture, natural sheen, and moisture-wicking properties — making it the perfect complement to cotton.
Slightly lighter in weight than our 100% Cotton, this fabric sits at approximately 120 GSM.

100% TENCEL™ Lyocell
Crafted entirely from sustainably sourced wood pulp, TENCEL™ Lyocell is celebrated for its silky-smooth texture, gentle drape, and exceptional breathability. This natural fibre is produced through an environmentally responsible closed-loop process, recycling water and solvents for minimal impact. Cool to the touch, luxuriously soft, and beautifully lightweight, it’s the perfect fabric for effortless comfort and year-round wear.
Different weights are used across our TENCEL™ Lyocell styles to suit the design. Our Jemima pieces are crafted from a heavier 185 GSM for a beautiful, structured drape, while our Betty styles use a superfine 90 GSM Lyocell Batiste Voile (doubled) for an airy, delicate finish.
Linen & TENCEL™ Lyocell Blend
Our Lyocell Linen blend combines 50% TENCEL™ Lyocell with 50% Cotton, woven into a seamless linen dobby texture. Lightweight, breathable, and soft against the skin, this fabric offers the relaxed look of linen with a smoother, more refined hand feel. Its versatile weight and texture make it effortlessly transition from night to day.

Certifications
-
All of our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified — a globally recognised system that ensures every component of a textile (including threads, buttons, and coatings) is tested for harmful substances and produced under environmentally and socially responsible conditions.
We also use LENZING™ certified fibres, produced by Lenzing AG — an Austrian company known for pioneering sustainable textiles such as TENCEL™, LENZING™ ECOVERO™, and VEOCEL™. These fibres are derived from responsibly sourced wood and manufactured through an environmentally conscious, closed-loop process. Lenzing fibres often hold additional certifications including FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC™ (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), supporting sustainable forestry worldwide.

Textile Printing Process
-
Our fabrics are primarily printed using rotary machines - a traditional method that differs from digital printing (sometimes referred to as Screen Printing). Rotary printing involves cylindrical screens that continuously transfer patterns onto fabric, producing vibrant, long-lasting designs. As this is a manual process, a slight colour variation of up to 10% may occur between production runs. This natural characteristic is part of the artisanal printing process, which is proudly carried out across Indonesia - a region renowned for its textile craftsmanship and expertise.

Our Preferred Fabrics
-
We thoughtfully select natural fibres that breathe beautifully, feel soft against the skin, and are kinder to the environment. Though more costly than synthetics, this choice reflects our commitment to creating garments that feel as good as they look.
